SUNDAY SCHOOL AND NURSERY

Bible study comes alive for children with “New Beginnings”. Please join us every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for age appropriate Sunday school classes that include music, art, cooking, drama, and games.
We offer a full nursery at our 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. service for children aged newborn through two years.
Preschool children ages 3 and 4 meet at 9:30 a.m. upstairs in the Christian Education Building.
Kindergarten through Grade 5 meet in the Sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. for music, then head to the Christian Education Building where they will separate into grade levels.

Our wonderful school will be opening its doors for the 17th year! We are looking forward to a spectacular year.
We strongly feel that the best educational programs do more than teach children how to count or say the alphabet. We teach to the whole child. Our program reaches children’s hearts as well as their minds. Creativity is encouraged. Imaginations are nurtured. Christian values are taught and demonstrated throughout the day. Self-esteem, good communication skills and effective relationships are important goals for our program.

MOMMY & ME classes include in-depth discussions, special music and movement activities for your child, how to play to maximize your child's learning potential and more. Each class fosters the social, emotional and physical development of your baby/toddler. Classes run for 8 weeks and are $10 per class.
Mondays - 9-10 am for 15-24 months & 10:15 – 11:15 am for 6-14 months.
Wednesdays 9-10 am for 0-8 months.

MOMMY & ME & SIBLING Too class is run similar to Mommy and Me but finally a class where both or all of your children from 0 - 4 years can participate together! Your older sibling can do all the cool moves and play with all the fun props while mom helps baby with theirs. Classes will run on an 8 week rotation and are $15 per class. Wednesdays 10:30-11:30 am
BABY & ME WITH SIBLING SEPARATION class is run similar to Mommy and Me but for mommies with a child aged 0-8 months with a sibling aged 14 months to 28 months. Your older sibling will go off to his/her own room with staff to further develop the ability to separate from you. Class is limited to 10 moms and children. Classes will run on an 8 week rotation and are $15 per class. Wednesdays 9:00- 10:00 am

PARENT'S MORNING OUT
Wednesday 8:15-10:30 am
This class is for children aged 15 months through two years old. For a small one-time registration fee, your child will be part of a group with 10-12 children, one staff member and a parent volunteer.
Our parents rotate their volunteering each week, so every 10-12 weeks it is your turn to stay with the children! We sing, dance, do art and play, all while learning how to appropriately separate from parent’s and begin socializing with other children. |
BABY & US An exclusive couples class for new parents! Bring your baby and each other. Did anyone ever wonder why we're allowed to walk out of the hospital with this precious new life and no one gives us any instructions? We're here for you. We will have in-depth discussions regarding family life, babies, exhaustion, relationships, etc. We can teach proper techniques for playing and stretching with babies. You ask, we'll answer. Class is limited to 8 couples and their babies aged 0-8 months. Saturdays 10:15-11:00 am.
 DADDY & ME A special class just for dads and children ages 6-14 months. Dads experience many issues exclusive to fatherhood during this age range. Learn special music and movement activities with your child. Class is limited to 12 dads with child. Classes will run on an 8 week rotation and are $10 per class. Saturdays 9 - 10 am.

Parents' DISH: Disabilities, Informing, Supporting, Helping
Special Needs Support Group
We will be providing support to families with special needs children/young adults at our new Monday evening support group. We welcome all parents and guardians of special needs individuals. Our goal is to invite speakers to share information, develop sibling work-shops, coordinate respite services for families and offer support as needed.
We KNOW the challenges and successes you face. We UNDERSTAND this. We are here for you. We need to be here for each other. This class is led by Maria Cammarata, Esq./Advocate AND parent of a child with autism. Maria also owns a therapy center and is in touch with many OT/ST/ ABA specialists. This group is about talking freely, having understanding and compassionate people there for help, as well as, having questions answered.  SAPLINGS GIFT BOUTIQUE
Our wonderful thrift store, SAPLINGS, is now open for the 2011/2012 school year. Featuring new and gently used children's items, including clothing, toys and furniture.
We welcome everyone to come visit us and shop! We are located on the second floor of the education building and our doorway is located just across from the entrance to the preschool.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturdays when volunteers are available, from 9:00-10:30 am. Please join us! |
