Palm Sunday Services In the Christian calendar, is the Sunday before Easter, sixth and last Sunday in Lent, and the first day of Holy Week. Maundy Thursday April 1, 2010 Also known as "Holy Thursday", Maundy Thursday is the Thursday of Passion Week, one day before Good Friday. Good Friday April 2, 2010 Good Friday is also called Holy Friday or Black Friday, commemorating the day of the crucifixion of Jesus and His death at Calvary. Easter Morning April 4 - 9:00 and 11:00 The Lord has risen... He has risen indeed! On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe, according to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life and was raised from the dead three days after His death on the cross. Through Christ's death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in Him, eternal life in His name. Sunrise Service At The Beach The Third Saturday of Each Month Sunrise at the Beach is on the third Saturday of each month. Join your friends at the foot of Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano for a brief devotion as the sun rises again on a new day. Begins at sunrise (approx. 6:45 a.m.) Prayers for Healing & Wholeness The Second Sunday of Each Month If you have a situation in your life over which you would like to have prayer or if you would like to join others as they pray together, come be a part of this outreach as we gather in the intimate space of the chapel at 6:30 p.m. As Scripture says , "pray for one another." Friends In Touch Intercessory Prayer Group Each Thursday morning Come join us Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel for Intercessory prayers.
